The neck is made of American Maple and features an American Maple fingerboard. Special features of this bass include Sadowsky J-Style pickups, active electronics with true bypass, Vintage Tone Control, treble and bass boost. The hardware includes light open gear Sadowsky tuners and a Sadowsky Quick String Release Bridge. Made exclusively in Germany, a Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage J\/J bass will never weigh more than 8.9 lbs (4.0 kg).
